Because Fernando Muslera really did go full Loris Karius with his blunder which effectively wrapped up France’s 2-0 win over Uruguay.
Griezmann, though, was almost sheepish in his reaction – and it turns out his relationship with Uruguay might explain why.

So out of respect he simply chose not to go over the top after his shot escaped through Muslera’s grasp.

Luis Suarez was having none of it, rejected Griezmann’s stance and slamming his decision.
“He’s not Uruguayan, he’s French and he scored a goal. He doesn’t know what we have to do to succeed in football,” Suarez said.
“He will have his customs and his Uruguayan way of speaking, but we feel differently.”
Tasty.
