The performance was very good with Spurs putting together slick passing moves and cutting through the Exiles at will.
However, Danny Rose is probably going to be waking up tomorrow with a sore shoulder.
He tried to outmuscle Newport County’s resident hardman David Pipe for a loose ball and there was only ever going to be one winner.
Pipe is built like an Olympic weightlifter and his huge shoulders sent Rose flying into the air when the pair came together.

To be fair looking at this guy I think I would let him have the ball and take it home if he wanted.
Premier League players these days are generally fit and muscular but nothing like the shape of Pipe.
The Newport County right back has muscles growing out of his muscles and you can see his eight pack through his jersey.

Oh yeah, we forgot to mention Pipe has spent some time at Her Majesty’s request.
Unfortunately for the big man Heung Min Son had him turning inside out all night until he was replaced by Christian Eriksen just after the hour.
Having tried to keep up with Son’s dancing feet for most of the game, Pipe was then replaced himself five minutes later.
