Anthony Martial back in France squad; no recall for Karim Benzema

Anthony Martial has been rewarded with a recall to the France squad following his excellent form this season with Manchester United, but Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema remains excluded by national team coach Didier Deschamps.

While struggling to establish himself at United following manager Jose Mourinho's arrival at Old Trafford in 2016, Martial dropped out of his country's senior squad, playing his last international in October 2016.

The former Monaco forward, 21, has won over Jose Mourinho this season, however, netting seven goals in all competitions for his club, including four strikes in the Premier League -- most recently the winner in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
